Kid Talk is registering now for the “Building Social Skills” Groups led by Karla Peska, LPC, Registered Play Therapist
Our Building Social Skills Groups utilize peer support and therapeutic intervention to help kiddos build friendships, practice social skills, and build self-esteem while they build with Legos!
These groups are open to boys and girls from ages 6-14. The small group format is well suited to children who have ADHD, ASD (Autism), anxiety, and for any child who needs more positive social experiences and self-esteem. Groups are forming on Friday afternoons for one hour and Saturdays. You will be provided frequently updates from the therapist regarding your child’s progress in group.
How Do I Get Started?
Parent/s fill out an Intake Form and the child and parent/s meet with the therapist for an evaluation. If the child is a good fit for the group, registration is completed with a payment of eight weeks of group sessions. A commitment of eight weeks is required.
Costs: First visit Assessment and Diagnosis $65.00
Group Sessions/Each $50.00
To be paid monthly, at a rate of $200.00 to $250.00 per month (depending on the number of weeks in the month), minimum commitment of 2 months. Card on file will be charged at the beginning of the month. We are able to accept HSA cards for payment.
