Sarah Sutton graduated with her Master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern and is working under the supervision of Robi Heath, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S as she accumulates hours to practice independently.
Sarah has experience working in inpatient, outpatient and private practice working with child, teens, and adults. Sarah has a background in the fitness industry where she worked as a yoga teacher, Barre instructor, personal trainer and nutritionist. She has worked for over a decade with children, teens and adults in some helping capacity. She believes change can happen in our body but also in our mind/soul. One of her passions is to see the entire family “healed whole.” She believes that if there is a desire for wholeness and a desire for healing, it can and will happen if the individual or family unit is willing.
Sarah is trained in play therapy which is a developmentally appropriate evidenced based approach to helping children. Sarah is working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
Random factoids about Sarah: Sarah is one of 7 kiddos and was in an internationally renowned choir. She has a beautiful great dane pup.
